SET DE SCRABBLE EN CREOLE PARA NIÑOS DE HAITI
Después del terremoto en Haití todos los esfuerzos de ayuda se concentraron en llevar medicinas, ropa, comida y albergue para las víctimas. Sin embargo, un grupo de profesores de Cambridgeport y Fayerweather capitaneado por Allison Bland hizo algo diferente. El grupo viajo a Haití en abril y llevó un set del juego de SCRABBLE en la lengua Creole, para los niños del Matenwa Community Learning Center, hecho por Allison con maquinaria especial en el Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). ¿Recuerdas aquello de "que no sólo de pan vive el hombre"?

Allison Bland made this video. She came to Haiti with the Cambridgeport teachers and Fayerweather teachers over April school break. She brought them a Creole scrabble set that she made at the fablab (a machine created at MIT) in the Southend Technology Cente (founded by Mel King).
