La revista The Rotarian en su edición de agosto de 2010, sección World Roundup en la página 14, incluye la siguiente reseña sobre la celebración de la Semana del Rotarismo en Puerto Rico.

PUERTO RICO

This year Puerto Rico added a new holiday to its calendar: Rotary Week, to mark the organization's anniversary on 23 February.  Sylvia Maisonet, now president of the Rotary Club of Manati, suggested the idea, and the bill was signed into law on 17 February. Rotarians celebrated the first Rotary Week by setting up a new Interact Club, broadcasting programs on local radio stations, and coordinating presentations .
